  • Child care is the backbone of the economy, but federal funding for it reaches only a fraction of eligible families. We need a fully funded, universal child care program that prioritizes job quality and the needs of families. @GtownLawPovCntr & @nwlc bit.ly/RE-CCDF
  • Our society cannot afford to undervalue the labor of caregivers—who are disproportionately women of color—for any longer. We need an anti-racist child care system now. @GtownLawPovCntr & @nwlc’s newest brief: bit.ly/RE-CCDF
  • Families of color have been blocked from accessing high-quality and accessible child care.
  • An anti-racist child care system would allow us all to thrive. @GtownLawPovCntr & @nwlc bit.ly/RE-CCDF
  • A new, anti-racist child care program in the U.S. would:

▶️Eliminate racial inequities in the child care system

▶️Establish child care as a universal right

▶️Value child care as a public good

▶️Build an inclusive child care system
